Is your brand turning away potential donors and supporters?

Donors and supporters prefer organizations that have strong brands. But beautiful websites, logos, or social media posts may work against you if they don’t truly represent your organization or resonate with your target audiences. Does your nonprofit suffer from these typical telltale signs of a weak brand?

• Calls to revamp websites or social media without an existing communications plan.

• A lack of clarity or consitency in how the staff talk about your organization or its mission.

• Inconsistent look or feel to marketing material.

• Uninspiring website that focuses on the organization rather than the beneficiaries’ needs.

• Social media gallery that resembles an over-stuffed event bulletin board.

• An unmemorable logo that communicates little about the organization’s value.

Hi, I’m Alexis!

I’m a designer and certified brand strategist working in and around Washington D.C. I help nonprofits and social enterprises align their brands for greater impact.

As a former executive director of a nonprofit founded by a Silicon Valley business leader, I understand the challenges nonprofits face. Complex missions, nonstop fundraising, managing stakeholders, measuring impact... the challenges never stop!

Amidst the daily priorities, nonprofit leaders don’t spend enough time fostering a key strategic asset that empowers everything else: their brand. I couple my strategic background with advanced studies in design and communications to create brands that lead their causes. Let’s work together to raise your voice.

How do we move forward?

In three simple steps:

Brand Audit

We begin with a discovery phase to answer several questions:

  • What are the needs of the organization?
  • How is your brand percieved, internally and externally?
  • What gaps and opportunities need addressing?
  • What branding actions can provide the greatest ROI?

Strategy & Design

We strengthen the foundations and build plans for execution. This may include:

  • Revisiting your strategy statements
  • Drafting a communications plan
  • Brand identity refresh and guidelines
  • Website designs
  • Social media strategy

Implementation

We launch the designs and manage the roll-outs. This may include:

  • Internal socialization of the brand
  • Launch of new brand identity, website, and/or social media campaign
  • Training and workshops
